The antivirus software scans, identifies and removes viruses, computer worms, Trojans, etc. Most of the antivirus programs are equipped with auto-update feature to stay up-to-date with new virus definitions that are released in the wild recently. They offer on-demand and on-access scanning options and choice varies from user to user.
